¹⁶ So the shepherds went quickly and found Mary and Joseph and the baby, who was lying in a ·feeding trough [^Tmanger]. ¹⁷ When they had seen him, they ·told [spread the word about; let people know] what the angels had said about this child. ¹⁸ Everyone [^Lwho heard] ·was amazed [wondered; marveled] at what the shepherds said to them.
